Terms & Conditions

Last updated

By booking a session or purchasing a package with TreeHouse Creative Workspace ("TreeHouse," "we," "us"), you ("the Client") agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your session or package. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received. All prices are as listed at the time of purchase and are subject to change for future bookings.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
All payments are non-refundable. We do not issue refunds for cancelled sessions or unused package time.

If you need to change your session, you may reschedule by giving us at least 24 hours notice before your scheduled start time. Reschedule requests made with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiture of that session. Each session may be rescheduled up to two times, subject to studio availability.

3. Late Arrivals
Your session begins at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the missed time will not be added to the end of your session, and the session will still end at its scheduled time. Sessions cannot be extended beyond their booked window unless additional time is available and paid for in advance.

4. Package Terms
Sessions and services included in a package (such as the Starter Pack) must be used within 365 days of purchase unless otherwise stated. Package sessions are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. Editing hours, clips, and other deliverables included in a package apply only to content recorded through that package.

5. Content Ownership & Rights
Upon full payment and delivery, the Client owns the final edited content produced during their session (episodes, clips, and other agreed deliverables).

TreeHouse retains ownership of all raw footage, unedited recordings, and project files. Raw footage is stored for 30 days after delivery and may be deleted afterward at our discretion; we are not obligated to retain or provide raw files unless a separate arrangement is made in writing.

The Client is responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any music, logos, third-party materials, or guest appearances featured in their content.

6. Portfolio & Promotional Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, TreeHouse reserves the right to use excerpts, clips, or stills from produced content for our own portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes. If you would prefer your content not be used this way, let us know in writing before your session.

7. Deliverables & Turnaround
Estimated delivery timelines for edited content and clips will be communicated at the time of booking. Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary based on scope and studio schedule. Revisions, if included, are limited to the number specified in your package or service.

8. Client Conduct & Content
The Client is solely responsible for the content of their recordings. TreeHouse is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or opinions expressed in Client content. We reserve the right to decline or stop a session involving unlawful, hateful, or harmful content, or conduct that endangers our staff, equipment, or space.

9. Equipment & Studio Use
The Client agrees to use the studio and equipment with reasonable care. The Client may be held responsible for damage to studio property or equipment caused by negligence or misuse.

10. Limitation of Liability
TreeHouse provides its services on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services, including but not limited to lost revenue or business opportunities. In the event of a technical failure, equipment malfunction, or other issue on our end that affects a recording, our sole responsibility is limited to re-recording the affected session or refunding the value of that specific session at our discretion. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected session or service.

11. Force Majeure
Neither party is responsible for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to power outages, natural disasters, illness, or emergencies. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule.

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
